Prayer Requests

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

Below are our personal prayer request and petitions for others.  Please join us in prayer.

Personal Prayer Requests
(Updated 3/17/2017)

Immediate:
* Please pray for our matching grant, that we can quickly match the money they have offered to double.  That God touches hearts.
* For our son, daughter-in-love, and granddaughter (Tom, Elizabeth, and Alessandra)...that they are blessed and protected as they start their military life.  Please pray for a blessing of peace and strength for their family.
*Please pray for our physical strength and health as life seems to be going 100 miles an hour and most likely will be for a few months.

Timothy~At Home and Medically:
*Please pray for Timothy.  He has now been home ten months.  He is a precious gift from God and still so very happy.   It is rarely seen outside, but he has a little temper.  He is still learning what family is and that they things he saw in the institution are not how family works.  Please pray for his little heart to understand this and for us to handle this with compassion and correctly.
*Please pray for his surgery coming up on the 29th.  There are many painful things even before that.  His casting appointments are on the 24th and 27th.  These are now painful as well.  Please pray for God's Presence, that  the surgery goes wonderfully, and for recovery to be flawless.

The Family: Please pray for each child's emotional, physical, and spiritual health AND PROTECTION.

Adoption Prayer Request
* Please pray for Grace~Victory and Hope~Glory.  Please pray they are safe, healthy, and dream of us (so that we are familiar when we meet).  Please pray they attach quicker than anyone in the adoption world can fathom, learning what family is.

*Please pray for our next step in our adoption process, that it is smooth and quick...with no hiccups.

*Please pray for the financial aspect.  With (most likely) between 2-3 months only until travel we have far to go.  Please also pray specifically for us to be able to meet our $4000 matching grant with out issue and that, if possible, we are awarded another of the two grants we are waiting on the results of as well (IF it's God's Will).

*.Please pray protection on our family and on Amy and I as we travel.  Please pray we remain healthy, with no issues in country.

Prayers for Others
Please forgive us if your prayer request is not listed.  We may not be sure if you wish us to share it.  Please shoot us an email and let us know!

*Please pray for those precious families who have lost little ones this year, as well as mom's and dads, brothers, sisters, and loved ones.  Please pray for comfort.
*Please continue to pray for Daniel, Ruby, Jeremiah, Selah, and Catie Jane.  These little ones came into their families with health difficulties.  A few were caused by severe situations of neglect or malnourishment (or both).

*Please pray for our friend (the C family) that need desperately to find a home Church to plug into.

*Please pray for my friend Jodi (and family) as their blessings (Hagan specifically) has had major health issues.  Please also pray for Elijah...complete physical and emotional healing.

*Please pray for the "S", "P", and "D" family.  Members of their families are fighting against addictions.

*Please pray for our friend Charlotte in Kenya and pray for Emma in Uganda as their whole life is dedicated to God as missionaries.

*Please pray for the "S" family as she is in the midst of transition with a new precious child.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
