TWO YEARS...it has taken TWO YEARS for Grace~Victory to come home.  We spent over a year just wondering what she looked like now that she was older.  We know WHY we had to wait....because she had a little (big by size...smile) sister that needed to come home too.

Every trial, God worked good through.

WE RECEIVED OUR ARTICLE FIVE TODAY!!!!  ALL we are waiting for is our Travel Approval.

Our time line just sped (sonic speed) ahead.  I almost can't breathe.  You need to peel me off the ceiling!!!!

Our agency and several other families have shared with us that travel approval is averaging...wait for it....SEVEN DAYS!!!!!  AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

What does this mean?!!!  This means that we may travel in as little as THREE WEEKS!!!!

Two years to three weeks....and I can't catch my breath!!!!

This also means...deep breath...that we need to raise $4300 in THREE WEEKS!!!!

For two years this mountain seemed insurmountable.

We came up against adversity and roadblocks.  Yet, the mountain slowly crumbled.  We are almost there.  Two long years of journeying has left us  a bit tired, being lifted up by our Heavenly Father...led through by solely HIM.

The mountain is small...SO MUCH SMALLER than it was two years ago...or even a month ago.  Right now it's about a $4300 mountain.  It's SO small comparatively.

1. The first  apex that we ask you to face with us is PRAISE! It's an easy hill really....a matter a fact it's easy to just be carried over it.  PRAISE with us friends! Praise for God fulfilling HIS promises to us.  PRAISE for the $4300 that WILL come, because this is a God led trek.  HE is a God that KEEPS HIS PROMISES!!!!

"Come and hear, all you who fear God;

let me tell you what he has done for me."
Psalm 66:16

PRAISE GOD FOR HIS PROVISION!!!!  He has cattle on a thousand hills!!!

"...for every animal of the forest is mine,
and the cattle on a thousand hills."

Psalm 50:10

2. Next, we face a mountain of prayer.  It's the most peaceful place to walk.  Walk this stunning range with us.  Join us, praying the last mountain flat.  We don't doubt that the ground will be laid bare to see two beautiful girls on the other side.

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything
according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever
we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him."
1 John 5:14-15

3. Join us in bringing the girls home, in some way, financially.  This is the summit we still need to be laid flat.  This may not mean giving, we know that.  We are all called to aid different needs.  This could mean sharing this need (as we face this mountain holding our hand).  This could mean God is impressing on you to share our story with someone, some place, a Church or organization.  This could mean God is stirring your heart, or your Church's hearts personally.  Finally, this could mean committing to prayer.  Yes, number two also covers number three (chuckle).

"Take delight in the Lord,

and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Psalm 37:4

We need you though friends...to praise, to pray, and for some whom GOD calls...to sacrifice.  THREE weeks has me stuck to the ceiling.  THREE weeks has me taking a deep breath.

THREE weeks also has me exclaiming that GOD WILL SHINE!!!!!!

We are almost there!!!!  (As I say that butterflies are soaring in my stomach and my heart is racing.)

Thank you for standing with us an joining us on this journey!!!

If you hear God nudging your heart or speaking to your spirit about helping bring our girls home....

*You can email us at 1thomkat(at)verizon(dot)net and we will share our phone number (if you'd like to chat) or  address.

*The LifeSong for Orphans account has been left open IF that avenue is better (For Grace and Hope).  It IS tax deductible.  There may not be time to mail a check directly to LifeSong, have it processed there, and have it sent to us though.  Giving through them online has a small fee taken out, but is quicker.  We will only be keeping our account through LifeSong open for another week.  We would love to keep it open longer, but need to insure we have enough time to receive any funds donated through them before we travel.  Our total will need to reach $11,000 on LifeSong to be fully funded.

*Our PayPal address can be used (using the "Family and Friends" method) to 1thomkat(at)verizon(dot)net.

*If you have an idea that may help, please feel free to email us as well. We never know how God may work!!!

Whatever avenue you feel comfortable with, thank you.
Thank you for answering the call that will change the life of two little girls and our family forever.

Thank you for the sacrifice...just thank you.

PRAYER REQUESTS: (They are now all immanent...smile)

2.  I feel a deep need to have everyone join us in prayer for the attachment of our girls.  Please pray they have NO attachment issues and attach to us as a family very quickly.  We have been in the adoption world enough to know severe attachment issues exist.  We pray that GRACE and HOPE have NO issues with attachment...NONE (that God prepares them as well).

. 3. For Grace and Hope, that they are healthy, loved on, and protected. Please pray that they dream of us and attach quicker than ANYONE could imagine.

4.  PLEASE PRAY FOR $4,300 in THREE WEEKS and please pray for those individuals God is touching to help us financially bring home the girls.

5. Please pray for Thomas and I to see clearly where God is leading and what WE are to do.

6.  Please pray that I can fully recover and can gain strength before travel comes (both Thomas and I on the last part...physical strength)

7. That my traveling companion (Amy) and I stay well (completely) within country and are safe....not even a nauseous stomach which commonly happens at least once.

 8. That God uses us/speaks through us while we are there, see what we need to see and doing what we need to do.

9. That our families are safe while we are gone and that it is a peaceful (and safe) time for them.

10. For Timothy's complete healing...and that he has walking and running in his future (smile).  That his pain is minimal.

11. Please pray for the Stewart family as they mourn the loss of their father, grandfather, and great grandfather, uncle, brother, and loved one.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
