Midnight Thoughts and The Wheel (God Provides)

I wrote a blog post in my head last started with "I'm tired".  It was a tad funny and fairly deep.  At least it was at midnight last night (chuckle).

You see, I am tired. It's not a bad tired, but very tired.  I'm sad for my friend whose father passed away this morning. I ache for them.   I'm thankful for both granddaughters I was able to tickle and play with today.

I'm nesting, feeling like I need to organize THE WORLD.

I spent this morning at our local Children's Hospital with some wonderful doctors getting things in order to help Timothy recuperate with Physical Therapy.  They are working with our Philadelphia hospital.

I shared the afternoon with eight of our wonderful kids, two granddaughters, and a precious three year old that is like a nephew.

But the hamster wheel continues a bit (smile).  My bronchitis is over, but my voice is not 100% back (it almost came back yesterday and left again) and I'm slow in recovering any energy. (Prayers appreciated there. I'm feeling very weak. )

Everything is heading the right direction though.  I'm just a bit tired.  I need recover from this virus.

But beauty happens during the wheel spinning though (smile).  Today another $400 came to aid toward bringing Grace and Hope home.  My heart soars that people are standing with us....and that God is stirring hearts....that people love two little girls around the world.

We are close to getting in the three thousands.  When anything over $300 comes in, we hit our next milestone (three thousands).  We now need to raise only $4300 to bring our girls home (happy sigh).
I believe 100% God will flatten mountains.  HE will bring Grace and Hope home.

Thank you for walking with us as we sit, stand, and rejoice in anticipation of how GOD will work!!!!

"Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.  A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd.  So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-figtree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way."  Luke 19:1-4

Prayer Requests and Praises:

PRAISE: Our Heavenly Father's timing, through our groaning at times, SHINES.  HE KNOWS the perfect timing.  We have received two grants.  Our delays have even blessed us.  PLEASE PRAISE HIM FOR HOW FAR HE HAS BROUGHT US!!!!

1.  I feel a deep need to have everyone join us in prayer for the attachment of our girls.  Please pray they have NO attachment issues and attach to us as a family very quickly.  We have been in the adoption world enough to know severe attachment issues exist.  We pray that GRACE and HOPE have NO issues with attachment...NONE (that God prepares them as well).
3.  Please pray for those individuals God is touching to help us financially bring home the girls.
4. Please pray for Thomas and I to see clearly where God is leading and what WE are to do.
5. Please pray for the Stewart family as they mourn the loss of their father, grandfather, and great grandfather, uncle, brother, and loved one.
6.  Please pray that I can fully recover and can gain strength before travel comes (both Thomas and I on the last part...physical strength).

Please Pray...
1. For Timothy's complete healing...and that he has walking and running in his future (smile).  That his pain is minimal.
2. For Grace and Hope, that they are healthy, loved on, and protected. Please pray that they dream of us and attach quicker than ANYONE could imagine.
3. Please also pray for Thomas and I. Please pray we can use this time before travel to gain physical strength.
4. Lastly, we have several expenses that we normally would have taken care of with our tax return, but couldn't this year. Could you please pray for God's provision for these expenses...and the things we still need to gather for the girls.  This isn't typical...unless we are in the adoption  Please pray GOD shows up in a big way here!
5.  That we hear from ONE grant we have yet to hear from.  Some wonderful smaller grants
don't communicate as much.
6. That my traveling companion (Amy) and I stay well (completely) within country and are safe.
 7. That God uses us/speaks through us while we are there, see what we need to see and doing what we need to do.
8. That our families are safe while we are gone and that it is a peaceful time for them.

If God is talking to you about our girls...about helping to bring them home.....
You can email us at 1thomkat(at)verizon(dot)net and we will share our address.  We have also kept our LifeSong for Orphans open if that avenue is better (For Grace and Hope).  Even our PayPal address is okay to use (using the Family and Friends method to 1thomkat(at)verizon(dot)net).  Whatever you feel comfortable with...thank you.  Thank you for answering the call that will change the life of two little girls and our family forever.  Thank you for the sacrifice...just thank you.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
