AMC, Kindness, and Some Cute Boys (8 Days)

Today is AMC (Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita) Awareness Day.  We happen to have a cute little guy that has Arthrogryposis.

His shirt says, "I AM Courageous."

When Timothy came home I was blessed to know something about Arthrogryposis already.  My friend Julia Nalle has two BEAUTIFUL boys with AMC.

Our two little guys playing.  Grandma picked up some flip flops for
the kids and a couple small things for the girls at Target

I need to say thank you to those of you who ordered gifts off our registry for the girls! It seems like packages arrive daily.  Thank you.

Each gift means SO much!
A friend had the dolls especially sent! So sweet! They are
larger than they look and totally awesome.  With notice we
need to make our suitcase just a bit smaller to avoid fees in country, we are
praying praying praying they fit in the suitcase!!!!

We are keeping our registry up until maybe Monday, but since 90% are needs, we need to purchase (or find locally) everything on our list to take with us (except maybe the crib sheets, though we do need, just not as quickly).  We have SO much already, that it's really not a lot left we need to purchase! You guys are WONDERFUL!!!!  I'm not sure how to get a hold of you to thank some of you.  Some items don't have notes/cards with them and I'm left just genuinely thanking you on here. Even the baby carrier came and fits GREAT!!!!

 THANK ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!

Things are going along pretty smoothly toward our week from Sunday departure date.  It's a bit chaotic and I go from nervous anxiety to just TOTAL JOY.  If things don't get done, they don't get done, but my mind and body says, "YOU.MUST.DO.ALL."   Yes, it even puts periods between each word.

I'm now hearing circus music constantly (wink).

We appreciate continued prayers friends!!!! They are the best gift we can ever get!  As always, specific prayer requests are below.  HUGS!!!!

"For with God nothing will be impossible.”
Luke 1:37

If you are wondering how I calculate the days.  If I post at night, I
don't count that day.  Day zero is the day we leave!

As you know by now (happy dance) we are fully funded!!!!  GOD IS GOOD!!! Thank you all for allowing God to use you and getting us to this point!!!

If you are one of the people asking about our needs for the girls right now, here is the link to our registry!!! :-)

There are now only two things when it comes to clothes that we still need for the girls.  That in itself is SO amazing!!!!!

PRAYER REQUESTS: (They are now all immanent...smile)

1. THAT GOD IS GLORIFIED IN EVERY STEP OF THIS ADOPTION.

2.  I feel a deep need to have everyone join us in prayer for the attachment of our girls.  Please pray they have NO attachment issues and attach to us as a family very quickly.  We pray that GRACE and HOPE have NO issues with attachment...NONE (that God prepares them as well).

. 3. For Grace and Hope, that they are healthy, loved on, and protected. Please pray that they dream of us and attach quicker than ANYONE could imagine.

4. PLEASE pray protection against ALL of satan's schemes.  He's been messing with our family and with Amy and her family.  PLEASE pray a strong concrete, cement, gold, silver (smile) wall between our lives and his schemes.

5.  That we have "more than enough" for this trip.  Please pray all trip plans to land within our budget.  GOD IS GOOD! We have confidence our trip will, but prayers do NOT hurt!

6. Please pray for Thomas and I's anxiety/stress.  Life is keeping us going a million miles an hour and peace that passes understanding would be very very welcome!  (Prayers for physical strength as well for both of us)

7. PLEASE PRAY THERE ARE NO PAPERWORK ISSUES IN COUNTRY AND EVERYTHING GOES FLAWLESSLY.  This is my current worry...pffttt.

8. That my traveling companion (Amy) and I stay well (completely) within country and are safe....not even a nauseous stomach which commonly happens at least once.

 9. That God uses us/speaks through us while we are there, see what we need to see and doing what we need to do.

10. That our families are safe while we are gone and that it is a peaceful (and safe) time for them.

11. For Timothy's complete healing...and that he has walking and running in his future (smile).  That his pain is minimal.

12. Please pray for the Stewart family as they mourn the loss of their father, grandfather, and great grandfather, uncle, brother, and loved one.

TRAVEL SPECIFIC PRAYER

*Please pray that travel is uneventful and NO LUGGAGE/items are lost/stolen.

*Please pray we make the right choices in our last few travel decisions.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
