Our Village and God's Provision

This Memorial Day weekend my heart and mind cannot stop thinking about the reason for this holiday...the many lives sacrificed for our freedom.

Yet this morning at Church we had our focus shift for a few minutes.   We found out how the $4400 came about (shared about in our last post).  It was gathered surreptitiously by our email was sent and things were sold.

They surround us with support and love in a way that blows us constantly away.  Our hearts are full.  We are so thankful.

Before the end of Church today the $5600 we needed to bring the girls home went down to $4900.00 needed in five weeks.

Only $4900....

Yes, we must say ONLY.  We are adopting two gifts from God and the expense has been very very high financially, higher than we have experienced.  Every penny is worth it....

God has provided.  We feel confident that the remainder will be provided as well.  Our Heavenly Father walked us this far and HE is bringing our girls home.  Oh that is such a beautiful thought!!!

Please continue to praise God for HIS provision.  Please praise our Heavenly Father for what IS to come as well!  We stand confident (with the occasional human nervousness) in our GOD!!!!

We can't wait to do the end zone boogie with our precious girls!!!!

(I can almost feel them in my arms!)

In the meantime we have enjoyed a couple of other LITTLE baby girls.

Our two year old Hope and three year old Grace will be Aunts when they arrive home!

Oh my mama (and grandma) heart!!!

Bekah/11 and Isabella/6 months old

Sweet and VERY Happy Alessandra (3 months old)

Uncle Max and Isabella
He truly has a heart for little ones!

NO JOKE...ALWAYS Happy Alessandra (except when she's hungry :-))

Aunt Bekah and Alessandra

Aunt Rachel and Isabella

Our lives and arms are full and blessed.  We cannot wait until this fullness includes two more little longer orphans.

God may be talking to someone right now about us... or even you. He may be asking someone to sacrifice beyond what's comfortable.  Oh, we REALLY "get" it.  That's hard stuff!   I don't know who it is, but please (as asked above) pray for them as well.  Also, please pray if Thomas or I are supposed to act in a specific way, we see clearly the direction.  Our Heavenly Father has floored us many times...touching people we may not even know...out of the blue.   Thank you for joining us on this journey and praying us through.  We've placed prayer requests below.

"...for every animal of the forest is mine,

and the cattle on a thousand hills."

Psalm 50:10

Prayer Requests and Praises:

PRAISE: Our Heavenly Father's timing, through our groaning at times, SHINES.  HE KNOWS the perfect timing.  We have received two grants.  Our delays have even blessed us.  PLEASE PRAISE HIM FOR HOW FAR HE HAS BROUGHT US!!!!

2.  Please pray for those individuals God is touching to help us financially bring home the girls.
3. Please pray for Thomas and I to see clearly where God is leading and what WE are to do.

Please Pray...
1. For Timothy's complete healing...and that he has walking and running in his future (smile).  That his pain is minimal.
2. For Grace and Hope, that they are healthy, loved on, and protected. Please pray that they dream of us and attach quicker than ANYONE could imagine.
3. Please also pray for Thomas and I. Please pray we can use this time before travel to gain physical strength.
4. Lastly, we have several expenses that we normally would have taken care of with our tax return, but couldn't this year. Could you please pray for God's provision for these expenses...and the things we still need to gather for the girls.  This isn't typical...unless we are in the adoption  Please pray GOD shows up in a big way here!
5.  That we hear from ONE grant we have yet to hear from.  Some wonderful smaller grants
don't communicate as much.
6. That my traveling companion (Amy) and I stay well (completely) within country and are safe.
 7. That God uses us/speaks through us while we are there, see what we need to see and doing what we need to do.
8. That our families are safe while we are gone and that it is a peaceful time for them.

If God is talking to you about our girls...about helping to bring them home.....
You can email us at 1thomkat(at)verizon(dot)net and we will share our address.  We have also kept our LifeSong for Orphans open if that avenue is better (For Grace and Hope).  Even our PayPal address is okay to use (using the Family and Friends method to 1thomkat(at)verizon(dot)net).  Whatever you feel comfortable with...thank you.  Thank you for answering the call that will change the life of two little girls and our family forever.  Thank you for the sacrifice...just thank you.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
