Right Now, Fall Retreat, and a Showering Isabella

I wrote this about a week ago.

Right now I sit in labor and delivery with our precious Sarah.  So far it's been over ten hours and she's exhausted.  We appreciate prayers for Sarah and Isabella and their health.   We ask that you pray for a quick, easy, and healthy delivery blessed by God.  Thank you guys!

This last weekend was a busy one for our family.  Not only are we on official "baby watch" waiting for Isabella to arrive, but two of our teens went to their Fall Retreat with the Youth Group.

Anna is in the second row from the bottom in the gray vest.
Max is in the top row (not on the rails) all the
way to the right with the hat on. The rest of the
kids and adults we just love and ARE our family...
our village.

On Sunday friends and family gathered together to celebrate baby Isabella.

There are so many people that made this shower happen.  Some made things, bought things, ordered things, and work work worked.  (I have to give a shout out to Sarah's mother-in-love Rocio.  She is a gift from God and we are honored to call her family!  She went above and beyond.)

Everything on this table was MADE
by those that love baby Isabella.

Sarah glowed of course.

The stunning cake was made by a friend of Rocio.
Thank you Pearl for making the lovely wrap which
Sarah is wearing.

All these amazing young couples are
expecting their first babies in the next months.

Sarah and Ivan received so much for Isabella.
(My mom is pictured with them above.)

The games we played were...ummmm...interesting.

Ya, those are nine different kinds of chocolate bars
melted into diapers.  The game was guessing which kind of
chocolate was in each diaper.

In this game,  girls are feeding the blindfolded men baby food...and they had to
guess the eight flavors.
Ham with gravy
Chicken with gravy

I only got a few pictures because I was laughing too hard.  I think in the
above picture Ivan had just eaten Ham with gravy.
My husband actually won.
 I guarantee it's just experience.

So after a long weekend of celebrating, we are laying at the couch, looking at the
ceiling.  We hope your weekend was as good as ours!!!!

May God bless you friends!!!!

The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you

    and give you peace.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
