Culmination of 14 Months (Day 12 with Timothy)

February 6th, 2015 I heard very clearly in my spirit "Go for your son."

May 6th, 2016 we woke up in Hong Kong, ready to board a plane and unite our family.

The Regal Airport Hotel in Hong Kong

We actually had to search for the check in desk with so many levels.

There was a tunnel straight from the main
floor to the airport.  They picked up our luggage in the
room and then delivered it to an airport trolley.

The line of taxis that lined up beyond what we could
even see, blew us away.

The Hong Kong airport is
so busy, but also so modern with every convenience.

Your prayers for seats together were so appreciated.
We got seats together EASILY once we arrived early
at the airport.  We not only got seats together,
but three seats against a window.

The view was amazing.  Timothy was wonderful
and slept for at least 9 of the 14 hours.  He was so sweet.
The butterflies kept on hitting our stomachs.  Two weeks
went so fast.

When we landed, our hearts just overflowed.  We hadn't held everything in, but much we had.  My first thought was, "On February 6th God said, 'Go for your son.' Today we are here.  This is the culmination of God's Will.  This was HIS Plan."  The tears started coming.

Finally....

Finally, a orphan is called a son.

Finally, a son sees his Father.

Finally, a new brother is loved by his siblings.

Finally, he has a Grandma, a Church family, a....a....HAPPY DANCE!!!!!

Thank you so much to Teresa who took the
pictures.  Our preacher and his wife, our youth minister
and one of their children (our other was sick :-(), a precious
woman from Church, the Stewart family, much
of our family.....welcomed us at the airport.  Every single
hug and face is permanently etched in our hearts.

THEN THERE WAS DADDY!!!

AND A SISTER!!!!

This was the culmination of a year that was harder that almost any we have experienced.
This was a gift coming to a fruition.
THIS WAS WORTH IT.

My Heaven Father, thank you.  Thank you for this journey.  Thank you for the
lessons we have learned this year.  Thank you for our Lexi being a part of the amazing journey and
the gift you gave us in her.  Thank you Lord for all the friends and family that prayed for us.  Mainly God, thank you for
blessing us...trusting us with this new little life.  Oh my God, thank you
is not enough.

I will extol the Lord at all times;

    his praise will always be on my lips.

I will glory in the Lord;
    let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

Glorify the Lord with me;
    let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me;

    he delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 34:1-4

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
