Deep Breath

Everything is speeding up and we are taking a deep breath.

Two papers/emails from immigration (out of our control) were just received by us day before yesterday.  We now wait for the next step.  The next step is the submission and receiving of what is called the Article 5.  It takes about two weeks once it's submitted (which is now).  Recent travel dates are given about a week or so later.  You then travel about two weeks after that.

The Math took my breath away.  It won't necessarily be that quick, but it was recently for two different friends with two different agencies.

Five weeks for our little boy to come home. Five weeks until he is in my arms.

I may want to hyperventilate just a bit.  Yup, sounds good....

There is so much to do in a short five weeks.  Even if the time lengthens, it won't be by that much.

*I need to get some doctor appointments in.  Jael needs the next fitting for her prosthesis.  I need to go in an get travel meds.
*I  need to finish printing off some new pictures and expanding Ben's speech therapy stuff.
*I need to get a better routine for home school.
*I need to freeze meals for our family.  I don't have to do this, but it makes things easier for my husband.
*I need to get the kids schedules, hair, bath, school...everything down in a notebook.
*I need to clean and fix some things.

There's a lot to do.  We also have $13,000 needed to bring Timothy home.

I know...KNOW...God's provision.

It's just all a lot to take in right now.  There's some other things we are petitioning God on as well...okay, begging.  (smile)

I actually am sitting down right now and writing because it relaxes me and I could feel the anxiety (which is silly because God has this) creeping up.

We appreciate all prayers.  Prayer requests and information on giving (should God prompt) are below.  Thank you guys for all your help in getting Timothy home...both through prayer or financially.

This coming Monday at 9:00pm Central, all over the United States, people are praying for our adoption and our family.  We appreciate all prayers.  We do.

Here's where we are on funds (prayer requests below).

If you wish to send funds directly, please feel free to email us.  We just don't feel comfortable putting our address on the internet.

Today (and next day or so):
*Please pray the paperwork that we need to be submitted is.  Please pray that the paperwork we need is able to be given (with joy).

The next days:
*The funds we need feel like we need "cattle on a thousand hills".  Please pray our cattle comes in. God knows our needs.
*Please pray for energy for Thomas and I.  I know this may sound funny, but the stress of the last year (only about half has been shared publicly, some day we hope to) has taken it's toll.  We've stopped focusing on health and we need to be.  We also feel a bit drained with all the medical scares last year (as well as a few other things).  We appreciate prayers for health for our whole family (and energy).
*Please pray for Timothy (and any future children) that he is protected and prepared to attach beyond what can even be expected.  That God implants us on his heart and that he is given dreams (and any future children).
*Please pray protection for our family, that the master of lies is blinded, deafened, and silenced.
*Please pray we hear God clearly and obey Him promptly.

Thank you friends...very seriously.

Friends have blogged about our family recently.  Many of you know them and may have seen them.  I thought I'd share with you these posts.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
