Prayers for a Very Serious Family Situation

Sometimes in life you have an experience that you think, "This can't be happening to us."  A situation occurs that just doesn't seem real.

My brother, his wife, and my niece are in such a situation right now.  Living in a different state, there is little we can do.

There is one things we can ask for though and it's BIG...prayer.

They are in the midst of a situation where they have had to place a restraining order on their neighbor.  They have cameras mounted and there is genuine fear to leave the house without others around.

Stalking my sister-in-law is a more pleasant way of saying what is going on.  It's that bad.

This man has exposed himself to a child and made advances to another one as well.

This is a bigger nightmare waiting to happen.  He is mentally (no judgment, just truth) unbalanced.

One of the biggest issues is that, though my sister-in-law calls the police and other neighbors are fearful of this man, they are all afraid to call the police.  They are afraid of reprisal.  They will ADMIT to the police that these things happened, but will not sign anything.

This man is a black belt, has slashed tires, and been filmed undoing a window screen.

Many will be facing such guilt when something happens and they did nothing.  It's escalating and getting worse.

I do fear what this man will do.

PLEASE pray for my sister-in-law, brother, and niece.  Please pray for their protection and that others come forward and stand up against this man before something heinous happens.  Please pray that he is committed long term before he hurts someone.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
