Getting Ready to Rock the Vote

After a quick home school day....

Ignore the puppy chewed carpet

playing,

we hit the Orthodontist (Sarah said she's too scroungy to be in a pic right now :) ).

We then registered my ALMOST 18 year old (Tom) to vote.

Had to get a picture.

I'm thankful he realizes the privilege it is to have some sort of say in who we elect (don't get me started on the electoral college).

"Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God."  Romans 13:1

*I have to admit, that I believe that (at times) God gives a country what they ask for.  Hard lessons are learned, not just as individuals, but as a country.

  1. Scary, isn't it, when "we" get what "we" ask for? I can't help but think about what happened when God's people cried out for a king!

My oldest turned 18 in July and will get to vote too. She is excited!

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
