Headless Polly Pocket, Blacky, and Prayers

It's 9:00 pm and this day has been a little bit of a blur.

Jael is doing good, no more signs of infection setting it.  I took the picture below because she was cracking me up.  She pulled the head off her Polly Pocket and was using it as a blush brush for her pretend make-up.  Yup, she's definitely our daughter!

We are still concerned because of the redness around the sutures on her legs, but when I looked at it tonight it reminded me slightly of a yeast infection.  It also didn't look any worse.

Jael also had two nose bleeds today (that we stopped easily).  This is unusual for her, so our antennas are up and watching her.  We have heard that it can be normal after surgery, but don't love it.

In the miscellaneous...

Our Anna is sad today because her Gerbil (Blacky) of two years died.  I know it's a Gerbil, but she loves ALL living creatures (some that I don't...think certain insects), and this was her first pet....just hers. :(

Bekah has been camped out on the couch with Strep and the twins both have some sort of virus (not Strep...different symptoms).  We're all a little tired, but thankful that we are (prayerfully) rounding a corner and sneaking up on "normal life" (at least for us...smile).

We appreciate all who are out there standing (or kneeling) in prayer for our sweet girl. Thank you!

Please continue to pray for...
*Her legs to completely heal.
*The redness to go away and NO infection.
*That we are all able to get well and rested (nights have been very disrupted lately).
*For Thomas and I to have complete clarity from our Heavenly Father.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
