How to Place God's Goodness in My Memorial Box

We are so close to bringing our Jael home. Our three and a half year old precious jewel has a long medical journey ahead of her, facing amputations...but our awe inspiring God may heal her beyond that.

I can't figure out how to put God's goodness in our Memorial Box...in the last three weeks God has blessed us beyond our expectations.

A paper that we were told could NOT be scanned through a government agency and sent to us (was required to send through mail)...within 24 hours was scanned and sent to us.

The next paper needed was done and completed BEFORE the necessary information arrived so that it could be completed. We were told it would take at least five days. It was done within 24 hours.

We were told that from the time our I800 approval hit China, it would take about six weeks for us to have our travel approval.

God called us to pray for Jael to be in our arms by the end of our year.

It took THREE weeks and we received it today.

I sit here surprised, yet not...that's our Amazing Heavenly Father.

Now, we pray we can receive a quick consulate date. We are confident. God has brought us to our knees and called us to pray.

Now we pray that the funds that fell through will be completely replaced within days.

Now we pray that God prepares Jael's heart and she, even through trauma, attaches to us quickly. That she dreams of us.

Now we pray she is in our arms by the end of our year.

Thank you Lord...there are no words to thank you. You are stunning....there is not a Memorial Box big enough (happy sigh).

"Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me..."Psalm 66:16

  1. All teary eyed. I love how God moves mountains and scans papers that weren't supposed to be, changes time lines to 'now' and bring treasures home forever. I am praying that your sweet Jael will see you in her dreams and that the bonding would be instantaneous and permanent. Faithful God.
    Thank you for sharing! xo

  2. Praise the Lord for His wonderful blessings to us, Kat. So, so happy things are moving quickly along, and continuing to pray that every need is met and that Jael's heart is absolutely longing for you when you hold her soon.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
