Eliz at "God's Gifts In My Family"-Prayers and Inspiration

I have a friend (yes, shock...hee hee) that is in the midst of an amazing journey. As my husband and I pray for guidance, she and her family are inspirational.

Some may not understand the journey she and her family are on, but that doesn't matter in the slightest. It may hurt, oh yes, but in the big picture they are following God and inspiring fellow believers. It's not always easy following God, but it's SOOOO worth it!

Right now they can use some prayers. They are in the process to bring home five (yes, I did say FIVE) beautiful sons with Down syndrome (internationally) in two different adoptive journeys. I have to check myself, because it's so stunning.

The first two (Julius and Paul) could have a ruling as early as Friday (and then up to a four month wait to bring the boys home). The next three (Noah, Moses, and Jacob) must wait until the first two are home.

Can you join me in prayer for Eliz and her family? Let's pray together for a ruling and God's protective Hands on ALL these very fragile little boys as they wait. Let's also pray for a speed that can only be given by God.

You can read more about their very cool family here.
"Three love bugs wait as we wait to hear on our Dossier".

Eliz, hugs my sweet sister.

Prayer Requests:

*Rolando and Julia (Guatemala-It has been over five years.), AND Junior and Diamoh (Liberia) to be able to finally come home to their families and that these countries open to legitimate adoptions.
*Renae-For the continued transition of their sweet family. Their daughter joined their family this year!
*Daniel (Liberia) and Jeremiah (Taiwan)- for their continued health issues. God's blessings and Hand on them and their families.
*Our friend's (unnamed, God knows) foster son, his family, and all who will make or influence decisions on his behalf that God's will be done in every aspect of his life.
*Eliz and her family-Blessings of speed of process and safety for her five fragile sons with Down Syndrome as they wait to bring them home.

Personal Prayer Requests:

*My husband and I, right now, are asking for a direct answer from God. We are asking for something so clear that neither of us can miss it. This is a very specific situation. We don't feel we're supposed to share all the details yet. Depending on the answer, it may change more than just our lives. If you have a moment (or many :)), can you pray with us. Can you pray for direct guidance and God's provision (there is a serious financial aspect involved too), that we may clearly see God's answer, have complete peace, and be able to act immediately.

*We also ask that you join us in prayer for wisdom and guidance (that we can bring God the most glory) in the career field. We're limited in what we can share, but feel pressed on to pray about both these prayer requests and God knows exactly what we're asking.

*Last, we ask that you pray protection against satan's barbs. Thank you.

Though our prayer requests have not changed a lot, they have intensified. God has been clarifying some things, but the intensity and challenge (even from ourselves) has stepped up a lot. Can you please pray with us (below) and pray God makes this even more clear and provides a clear financial way. It's pretty serious and we can not only see the momentum building, but the resistance as well.

  1. Aaaw you are too sweet! Thank You Kat and everyone who is praying.
We are humbled. This all fell into place with God's leading. If you had told me we were doing this in October I would have said you were crazy. It all fell into our laps in November and we ran with it! :o)

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
