Orphans and Adoption in the Islamic Context

"Take Your Vitamin Z" yet again really made me think.

In certain parts of this world there is a stigma attached to orphans. Being adopted sons and daughters of God, it shouldn't be this way.

"For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves." Ephesians 1:4-6

While reading "Orphans and Adoption in the Islamic Context", I ached. There are so many children out there that will never have permanent homes here on this earth. Sadly there are governments that insure that.

I am SO glad that God is bigger than any government.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright shove...no matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the momentum...it is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
