A Long Way From Home-Kyrgyzstan Adoptions

Kyrgyzstan, in Central Asia, has gone through (as many countries) a long and tedious process of adoption reform.

Many families and children have been caught in the seemingly insurmountable gulf that halting adoptions creates. Specifically around 65 families have waited almost two years for the government to lay out a plan to bring their children home. The plan was laid out and then the very government that laid the plan out was overthrown.

Let's rest in prayer for these families and the roller coaster they are currently on. Let's pray for the new government to make a priority of these little ones waiting to rest in their parents arms. God is much bigger than any government (as you've heard me say many times before). You can read more about the situation in Kyrgyzstan at the following link.

"Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance." Philippians 1:18-20

  1. i am one of the 65 families and just wanted to thank you for your prayers.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
