This has been a rough morning. My husband felt AWFUL last night, but hoped to feel better this morning (hoping for allergies). We had plans with a really neat family today. They are as warped as we are (hee you guys). Yet, much to our regret, we had to cancel said plans for a SECOND time because of illness (not many are brave enough to handle all seven of us, so we feel REALLY bad about it) and hunker in (there are a few not feeling top notch right now).

I share this because this is NOTHING compared to what the Riggs family is going through right now.

You may have noticed the "Praying for Abby" button on the right side of my page.

Abby is a sweet little girl with Leukemia. God has planted her and her wonderful family on our hearts. She isn't doing good, it's more than that, she's doing bad.

She's in the hospital right now with NO immunity. She's been on Chemo (isn't done until November), but right now there's a greater concern. This is how they phrased it.

"If no immunity progress is made in a few days, they will do a bone marrow aspiration to see if, God forbid, she has relapsed into new Leukemia."

Please check out their website (below) and please, most importantly, pray. God does listen to our prayers. Please, petition God for sweet Abby and please considering sharing this prayer with other prayer warriors.

Also, after this was initially written, I checked blog updates. I want to add another family. Please pray for Lane as she is in the final stages of cancer. Her family is preparing and she's in a lot of pain.

  1. I just can't imagine what this family is going through. We will certainly be praying for little Abby.

In the joy of following our Heavenly Father, we sometimes choose to proceed with a whisper, a verse, or a downright matter how we follow Him, the momentum that follows is like nothing we've ever experienced before.

Join the is a beautiful place to be. It's not always easy, but then the best things never are.
